Virtually every photographer dreams of the day that their photography will be printed and bound in a premium quality coffee table book.
That dream was brought to life for me by fate. Yes, fate, Bill Hurley, and the pandemic.
I found the Fallout Shelter by chance in early 2018, and I have been honored to be the staff photographer there since 2019.
The book that I was referring to is entitled
“the fallout shelter – IMAGES And insights from the vault”
This book contains the definitive history of The Fallout Shelter through breathtaking images and the personal experiences of the artists and staff that make The Fallout Shelter so unique.
The book is a 220-page, ‘limited edition’ coffee table book, with beautiful full color and black and white photography capturing unforgettable moments of performers, staff, and fans.
There were only 300 copies printed, signed, and numbered by the book’s authors Dan Busler and Bill Hurley. The Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center (GRCPAC) issued the book in May of 2021 as a fundraiser before re-opening after the pandemic shutdown. There are still a few copies of the book available.

Purchase a copy of the limited edition book to support The Fallout Shelter & The GRCPAC at the venue. (Bill and I will personally sign your copy!)
