Just like us, Mother Nature needs her sleep
To rest all of those branches that reach leafless out to the sky
The waters rest too, beneath the thin ice
Crisp brown leaves crinkle under our feet
As we all wait for Spring
To awaken her from her sleep
As we all await Summer’s glorious heat.
This is a scene at Forge Pond in Canton, MA. that I came upon while I was on a photo excursion with my good friend and fellow photographer; Jonathan Cardoni
