Travis Roy Foundation – “Helping Others Move Forward” … Franciscan Hospital for Children –  “Providing Compassionate Care”

These are the organizations behind the Boston Whiffle Ball Challenge which was held at Boston University’s Nickerson Field on June 22, 2014

Hundreds of players came out for the day of some serious whiffle ball, food, family and support. And thousands of dollars were raised for these worthy causes through their generosity.

Here’s a look at the day that I was honored to be asked to photograph.

Travis Roy Foundation / Franciscan Hospital for Children Wiffle Ball Tournament {Event}

Sometimes when I am photographing an event like the Travis Roy Foundation – Franciscan Hospital for Children annual Wiffle Ball Tournament which was held at WAKE Field in Brighton MA on May 19, 2012, I feel as if  it should be called ” There go I too – but for the grace of God” … day.

The event brought together teams from law firms, banks and consulting groups for a day filled with fun and laughter.
But the worthy cause they support at this event is never far from their minds . For this game is played on the grounds of Franciscan Hospital. And as we looked up to the windows of the hospital we could see the faces of the children – full of smiles and hope that they too would one day run and play.

We all do what we can for – “There go I too – but for the grace of God”

Please support the Travis Roy Foundation and the Franciscan Hospital for Children.

Raffle prizes included an autographed football from New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick .
